Exhaust valve, uprated
Part No EAC 1548 RG
High specification exhaust valve for XK 6 cylinder engine. High quality standard exhaust valve with carbon scraper shoulder for most 6 cylinder XK engines from 1948-1987 of 3.4, 3.8 and 4.2 litre capacities. This valve is 1 5/8 diameter head with a .310 stem to give 0.0025 running clearance on an accurate 5/16 guide, overall length of the valve is 4.079" . This will not fit XK120 and early Mk VII as these cars had the smaller exhaust valve of approximately 1.440" head diameter. This valve has a 45° valve seat. These valves are UK manufactured to a very high specification from 21-4N non magnetic stainless steel and are gas nitrided. These valves are often unavailable from other sources or not of suitable quality for performance applications so Racing Green Cars has had these valves made to its own specification.
