Wishbone bush, lower rear
Part No RG 109
A pair of replacement rear lower wishbone bush for later Jaguar XK X150 and XJ X350 S type X200 X202 X204. This bush is not available from Jaguar and normally warrants replacement of the entire lower rear wishbone assembly at significant cost. Racing Green has developed a bush specifically for this application as there is rarely any problem associated with the lower wishbone itself. The bush is not the simple plain rubber type of bush but the much more sophisticated "ball joint" type with dust seals at each end. These bushes are now becoming MOT failure points and there has been no other way of replacing these bushes other than to buy a new complete wishbone from Jaguar. There are 2 required per lower rear wishbone. Jaguar part numbers for the rear lower wishbone include C2P14467 & C2P14468 for the XK. Part numbers on the XJ change at a chassis number, up to G41511, rear lower wishbone numbers are C2C21162 & C2C21164. After chassis number G41511 the lower wishbones are C2C36791 & C2C36792. There is no Jaguar part number for these lower rear wishbone bushes and the Racing Green bush will fit all these applications.Please note that these bushes are now sold in pairs, both of this type of bush must be replaced in the same lower rear wishbone as fitting individual bushes cannot be guaranteed as the remaining original bush will almost certainly be worn and this will mean in practice there is undue load placed on the new single bush. A pair of these bushes must be fitted to EACH wishbone.
