Windscreen conductive repair compound

Heated rear windscreen conductive repair adhesive compound. Racing Green Cars has searched for a suitable product to repair heated rear windscreens where one of the electrical connectors has pulled away from the heating element. Normally these electrical spade type connectors are soldered on to the windscreen in the manufacturing process and are reasonably robust but they can be knocked off and then it is virtually impossible to effect a reliable and strong repair. Racing Green Cars are now able to offer a very highly electrically conductive epoxy compound which adheres strongly to all electrical connections and provides both the physical bond together with the highly conductive link as required to give the current carrying capacity for the heater element of the rear windscreen. The compound is virtually pure silver and is supplied in ideal quantities for the repair of 2 connections. The compound is costly due to the high silver content so larger quantities are exceedingly expensive and due to the shelf life likely not to be used. The 2 parts of this product come in a small sealed sachet and are mixed before application. The connector must be physically supported whilst the compound cures. Curing time is dependent on ambient temperatures. Racing Green Cars can carry out this repair if required.
